Peugeot 206 RC turbo GT3076R

For some the 177 hp a standard 206 RC is supposed to have when it leaves the factory is simply not satisfying... and we can only agree! Patrick A. felt just that way about his 206 RC and contacted us to see what could be done. Turned out his mind was set on the 'magical' figure of 500 hp. To make the engine's life a bit easier the choice was made to make this power on bio-ethanol E85.

The engine was given forged pistons and rods and further upgraded with better bearings. The head bolts were replaced by ARP head-studs. A Garrett GT3076R turbocharger was used, mated to a TiAL stainless turbine housing together with our 316Ti stainless exhaust manifold and downpipe. TiAL also catered the MVS external wastegate and 50mm 'Q' BOV. The 1200cc injectors are fed by a 044 fuel pump. All is managed with a Vems v3.6 standalone programmable system that has dual maps activated to be able to switch between E85 fuel and regular EURO 98.
