Some things start humble and over the years grow big, that is exactly what happened with Johannes' car. When he first came to us his idea was to have a 206 RC with a 280 - 300 hp engine... but... after driving a year with 294 hp and 320 nm he wanted more, much more! You can read in Phase 2 of the project how it got wild!

Even though the EW10J4S engine in stock form does not bring the 177 ponies Peugeot promises (around 165 hp is a more realistic figure to put on the engine in good and original condition), it is still a very nice base to start with for a turbo conversion. Combine the right parts and with minimal boost pressure great power figures can be obtained from the 1997cc unit while retaining the original pistons and rods.  Check the parts list below to get an idea what components we used in this engine setup.
